Kevin Boyer is the Financial Administrator for the Elkhart Clinic, where he has been employed for the past 20 years. He holds a degree in accounting from Manchester University and a Master’s degree in administration from the University of Notre Dame. He and his wife, Ruth, reside in Bourbon and have four adult children and 10 grandchildren.
Kevin is completing his 16th year as a board member for Triton School Corporation, his 15th year as a board member of ADEC and his 9th year as a board member of the Marshall County Community Foundation. He is also on the Triton Distinguished Young Women board and has served as the program’s emcee for the past 13 years. Kevin received the 1st Source Bank Ernestine M. Raclin Community Leadership Award in 2017.
Kevin’s interests include restoring classic Corvettes and Schwinn tandem bicycles, anything that’s a two-seater!
Participating in this year’s event couldn’t possibly be further from Kevin’s comfort zone. He refused to dance at his oldest daughter’s wedding and reluctantly did so at his youngest daughter’s wedding. He took on this challenge because he wants to feel comfortable dancing someday at the weddings of his four granddaughters!
As the senior competitor this year, Kevin is desperately seeking the sympathy vote. He makes up for what he lacks in skill, poise and grace with experience!
